About

ABOUT

Sandy Starlets

As a local community netball club, our aim is to provide young people with the opportunity to enjoy learning netball skills, and to develop a strong understanding of teamwork in a fun and positive environment. Our club structure encourages our members to expand their friendship network and explore their role in creating a successful team dynamic.

Sandy Starlets is run solely by volunteers – mainly parents. Being involved in club activities is very rewarding personally and for our players; and we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities to participate – from sideline support on game day; to coaching or managing a team; or applying your personal expertise to one of the committee roles. We warmly invite you to join in our community organisation.

We respectfully acknowledge the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which our club is based. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We also wish to recognise the tremendous contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to sport, and in particular Netball, in Victoria
